Nonetheless, between now and when the glass clicking goes on, keen followers of education and stakeholders will certainly try to examine what the out going year has been like. , The Civil Society Action Coalition on Education For All (CSACEFA) was part of a civil society group that attended a forum at the instance of the Debt Management Office (DMO), The Civil Society Action Coalition on Education For All (CSACEFA) met with the Honourable Minister of Education Mrs Obiageli Ezekwesili shortly after she took over the reign of affairs of the Education Ministry, The 53rd plenary of the National Council on Education (NCE) held in Calabar Cross Rivers State from the 26th November – 1st of December, 2006, Yes, the target is feasible. A critical step that has been in place to achieving the target is the UBE intervention. It serves as a bridge between the Federal, State and Local Governments to achieving this target. Aside from achieving target enrolment figures, other issues like policy coherence, adequate funding, completion, quality and relevance are key to a wholesome education, A round-table on “The State of Education in Nigeria” was held this day, Monday, 3 July 2006, Education as the responsibility of all Education, universally, has unmistakably demonstrated itself to be essential to the development, progress and advancement of a nation.
