The GCAP/MDG Working Group - Nigeria, a member of a global coalition working to eradicate poverty, is made up of an alliance of about 700 Civil Society Organisations across sectoral interests working to build political will for the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and also provide a platform for Nigerian people to hold the government to account for the millennium pledge made to Nigerian citizens and indeed the entire world.

Yes, the target is feasible. A critical step that has been in place to achieving the target is the UBE intervention. It serves as a bridge between the Federal, State and Local Governments to achieving this target. Aside from achieving target enrolment figures, other issues like policy coherence, adequate funding, completion, quality and relevance are key to a wholesome education
